In case you haven't heard, Chris Sawyer created a mobile version of RollerCoaster Tycoon, which is quite faithful to the original games, and includes elements of both RCT 1 and 2. It's published by Atari and has been available for a few days now on Google Play and the App Store.

What I'm particularly happy about – and I guess that among you people I won't be the only one – is that this is, surprisingly, a true buy-to-own game. None of that crap where the game is supposedly "free" in the app store, but then keeps bugging you about forking over "micropayments" to gain or unlock things. No, it's a single upfront price for the entire game. I was sure that this distribution model doesn't even exist anymore.
Just FYI for others, content from RCT1 expansions is included. However, RCT2 expansion content and some tools are a separate purchase.

Atari always feel the need to ruin classic games. I would happily pay a between $5-$10 for a RCT2 on my phone however if it is to include microtransactions I wouldn't pay anything.

Anyways you can't beat the desktop feel.
Classic is actually really good. Almost what I'd expect from OpenRCT2 mobile actually. Of course later they also came out with a redo of their previous mobile garbage, but who cares when this runs so well.

I just wish you had access to custom content at the level of PC. I mean, we do need to pay for it.
