Okay, so I had Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe, the CD version, that I used on older computers. But with my most recent laptop, I just decided to go for the gog version so I won't need a disc any longer. However, I seem to recall that you could use some of the Loopy Landscape / Corkscrew Follies stalls & rides on the original Roller Coaster Tycoon scenarios. But my research on "Forest Frontiers" just finished & it seems none of the expansion features are available on this scenario. Is that a feature of the gog version? Are the expansion rides & such only available on the expansion scenarios?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that indeed the expansion rides cannot be researched in the original scenarios, nor was that ever the case.

That's what I was thinking too, but it has been a good many years since I last played it.
Well for the life of me, I could have sworn that the expansion packs opened up a few extra things in the original RCT scenarios. Specifically, I think I at least unlocked the seafood stall for Forest Frontiers, among a few other additions. It wasn't a ton of stuff, but I just remember the expansions adding just a tad more stuff to the original scenarios. I could be wrong though, but that's what I recall. Anyhoo, thanks for the input. I'll stop worrying about it & just enjoy it as is.

I don't think anything extra was added to the original scenarios other than the additional footpath options and things like banked turns on the steel-mini coaster.
Okay, cool. Thanks for the replies everyone. So I'm just not going to worry about it. I appreciate the input! Oh, I do have another question though. GOG's site says that the soundtrack for RollerCoaster Tycoon is included in the download. But I can't seem to find it anywhere on my computer. Does anyone happen to know where it might be?

That's an easy one. Under "My Account" go to "My Games" and select Rollercoaster Tycoon: Deluxe. This will reveal what's available for download. On the left is the Windows installer and on the right you'll see My bonus content, which in this case includes the manual and below that the soundtrack (36 tracks).
