Hello Everyone,

I have had RCT on GOG for a while, and it worked great on my old laptop with windows 7. I've gotten it to work on my newerish laptop with windows 8.1. I recently did the switch to windows 10, and since some of my other games weren't working with it switched back to windows 8.1 again. I got the game running but I cannot get it out of windowed mode to save my life. I don't need a super high resolution I just want to be able to play it full screen (black bars are fine).

What I have already done:
Added RCT.exe to the DEP list
Running it in compatibility mode for windows 95 (for some reason it won't work on xp)
Running in 16-bit colors,
Installed by running as admin and running as admin when playing
I even tried installing the GOG galaxy client but that wouldn't run it at all.

Like I said, it does run, but ONLY in windowed mode and I just can't play it that way, it drives me insane. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check the ingame options.

Forgot to add that doesn't work. When I try to switch it in game, the game goes partially black, and still stays in windowed mode. So that's pretty much useless for whatever reason.

The black-ness can be gradually removed by moving the camera and windows in the game, clicking on a button in the top bar and something in the bottom bar.

For some unknown reason, I've only ever managed to get the resolution right after several runs of the game.

Try double clicking the title bar.
