pilotchris: I found that Dragon's trainer v5 works with Vista 64-bit. I didn't have to install any patches either. Just open RCT then alt-tab and open the trainer. v6 of the trainer doesn't work.

EDIT: The trainer must be run with admin permissions, but RCT doesn't need to be run with admin permissions.

Niode: Turns out I was wrong. I completely forgot about the save game editor that was patched for Loopy Landscapes. This will allow you to have infinite money (in a round about way). Just save your game, edit the save, give yourself 50,000, when you've spent that just give yourself some more.

Works fine for me, if you try and enable features that require the Drexler patch to be installed it won't work. That should be obvious...

davidbitterbaum: RCT 2 is a bit better if you want to do something "Sandbox" but I recommend both games as playing the scenarios is a blast in RCT and RCT2.

godspeeed: Hopefully they will release RCT2 very soon but so far Im having a blast. A friend and I were suppose to do some Starcraft II ladders thursday night and we ended up each playing RCT on our own for 7 hours straight. I havent tried the second one but this release has already everything I could ask for.

How is the second installment better for sandboxing?
The 2nd installment is better for sandboxing as there is an actual sandbox mode where you don't have to worry about money, a time limit for success, or the like.

But I am afraid that most of the trainers work only with the real LoopyLandscapes version, and specifically the UK/US releases, and probably not with the Deluxe version. But give it a try.

Confirmed RollerCoaster Tycoon DELUXE (from GOG) working trainer. The SAVE GAME MODIFIER is hosted by
RCT Station Archive (a trusted RCT site) containing many helpful RCT tips and tricks.

The RCT Save Game Modifier ver 3.13 is located here at: http://www.rctstationarchive.com/downloads/utilities/

Right-click on savedgamemodifier313.zip and save file where RCT Deluxe is located. Unzip into RCT folder.

Run the program RCTsaveGameModifier313.exe

Use the program to open a previously saved RCT Deluxe game file. Now change your saved game any way you wish. The Financial tab has "ADD $50,000" but there are hundreds of other features you can change.

Save your changes. Open RCT Deluxe. Load the game that you modified with RCTsaveGameModifier313, and viola! HAVE FUN!

I have not tested this RCTsaveGameModifier313 with other versions of RCT.

ok please explain this one to me im on Millennium Mines i have 3 square wide paths straight and there is nothing blocking them and they guests are getting lost! and walking one just one square this makes NO sense to me at all! i also changed the colour of my paths no effect i also tried to screen shot it i found the file i clicked on it and it wouldn't read with a simple paint program. This is the first scenario ive ever had such a problem ok bridges seem to work

Just in case anyone is looking for a trainer to use and/or cannot get any of the ones mentioned here to work properly, just google for a trainer called Swiss Army Knife. Install that one and it works, just like that. No Drexler Patch needed, no additional installations or copies of files or whatever. Have fun! :)

wow im responding uber late to this comment in this post.

but.

Swiss Army Knife trainer does work with 0 patching. to an extent

if you use the trainer the game will not allow you to save your game as a save.

So just keep that in mind.
