Hey everyone.
I was hoping someone could tell me what languages are available in RCT 1 and 2?
I'm thinking of buying either one or both for my nine year old niece, but she's not proficient enough in English yet, so I need the games to allow for dutch language settings. Either supported out of the box or by downloading a language patch/mod/whatever.
I don't see dutch as supported on the store page, but I clearly remember playing RCT1 in dutch when I was around that age. I'm not sure whether RCT2 was ever translated to dutch.

I checked my download options, its not an oversight on the gamecard, no dutch there either. I'm surprised by the lack of dutch too, there were always so many dutch players around.

RCT2 had a dutch version as well, no clue about 3, glad you didnt ask.

A bit of digging reveals that the original game was released in far more languages than the Deluxe rerelease.

I found a couple of different forum posts here and on Steam, claiming to have language files for RCT.

I don't have RCT1 myself (3 is enough for me), so I can't test whether they work.

Thanks for the responses guys.
I found those posts for RCT1 as well, I was mostly hoping these same kinds of packs were available for RCT2 as well (since RCT2 is just slightly better) But it seems there isn't one.
Oh well, RCT1 deluxe should prove more than plenty to entertain. I know I spent an obscene amount of time on that game when I was ten. Ah, good times.
