It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I'm running Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe through Wine on Linux Mint (17.3). The game works fine except when trying to save a game or open a saved game. After doing either of these things, the colors mess up and the game becomes unplayable (just because of the colors, all the actual functionality still seems to work). I've included a screenshot of the appearance.

Has anyone else had this issue and figured out? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

EDIT:
The below led to a little more experimentation, and it turns out you don't have to set up the 800x600 virtual desktop on Wine. After saving or opening a file, just toggle to Window Mode via the Button that looks like a floppy disk -> Options (find it before the graphics go wonky as I wasn't able to read the menus) then toggle back to full screen mode at your desired resolution.

Original Post:
A little further searching turned up a fix:

- Enable an 800x600 virtual Desktop in Winecfg.
- In RCT
- Start a new game
- Options
- Change Display Mode to Window
