Hi,

When I launch RCT I get a message box after some secondes :
"Error : Program crashed"

Same after reboot, reinstall, I don't know what to do :(
I'm on Windows 7 x64 (my PC launch Battlefield 3, Assassin's Creed 3, etc in full details).

Anyone else have got this problem ?

And RCT 2 don't start, nothing happens :(

UAC isn't active and I'm Admin of the machine so right clic > run as admin doesn't change :(

I likewise had that issue. What i did was go into compatibility and set it to run as if I was Windows 95. I have Vista though but give it a shot.

Oh God yeah, I tried Win XP compatibility but not Win 95, it work, RCT 1 and RCT 2 works.

I'm having a similar issue. It sometimes says "Installation not found" and sometimes just freezes up everything. I'm running Windows XP, and when I got 'Installation not found" I had it set to run as if on Windows 95.

I've also got both SCUMM VM and DOSBox. I don't know if either of those are required to get it running, or if I need to download something else.

I had an error just saying: "RCTD cannot be started"

Running it as administrator worked for me.

I just downloaded the game, and installed, I run the game and it says "this game has not exited properly, press yes to continue..

I have Windows 7 64 bit, and this is yet another in a long list of games I've downloaded from this site that don't work on my system! WTF?!

Edit: I found the problem, I hadn't downloaded the Gog downloader on Dad's PC.

"Windows 98 / ME" compatibility mode did the trick for me.

Windows 7 64-bit, no UAC

Win 98/ME compatibility worked for me.

Using Vista x64.

Had the same problem, also with Win7 64 bit. Run as Admin worked fine for me as well :)
