I cannot play these two games. I can play RCT3 just fine, but not these two. Every time I start it just says "Unable to initialize graphics system" What do I need to do to fix this? I have the compatibility options set to Win 98/ Win Me. I am running on Win 8.

Make sure all components from DirectX9 are there, maybe RCT3 doesn't make use of them but the older ones do.

Running the game in compatibility mode (try different ones) and as Administrator is a good idea.
