Every time I run RCT3, I get a popup on the main menu or when opening a park:

"Failed to open file. It may be set to read-only, you may have insufficient access rights, or the hard disk may be full."

It actually displays this twice (i.e., I have to click the check twice).

I haven't noticed any gameplay issues, so I guess it's more of an annoyance than anything, but am still curious why I'm getting this. I'm running Windows 8.1 and have done the My Pictures fix, so maybe that has something to do with it.

It's probably one of the mentioned things.

You can solve the read-only and insufficient access rights issue by running the game as administrator (right-click the RCT3 icon => "Run as administrator)"

And make sure non of your hard disks is full ;-)

I get the same message with the game....am trying to remove the read only option for my rct3 in galaxy client...will see what happens....this did not happen with my previous disc version
