Well, I wanted to build a classic model of Looping Roller Coaster that I used a lot in RCT1 : "Shuttle Loop".
I test it, but when the wagon goes back to the station, it doesn't stop (and it stop to in RCT1) !
Must I do something special or is this how it's functionning in RCT2 ?

Both. They tried to be a little more realistic with that one. You need a steep incline at the other end of the station to take out the momentum, when the train returns to the station after that it mysteriously stops just fine. Look at Turbine or Stingray for an example.

But powered launch isn't the best way to run those (it works tho), you'll notice the "break hill" has lift chains and the coaster is set to reverse inclined mode, using that dead end for the initial speed gain. Powered launch is more of a niche thing in RCT2, like if you need a small push to reach the lift hill on a bigger non-shuttle coaster.

I saw that a steep incline at the other end will do it... But was wondering if there weren't any option I was missing. Apparently not ^^

Phew. They allow you to run more trains than fit into the station at once, without risking that they run into each other. Each block brake defines a track section, until the next such brake and each section can only have one train in it. If its occupied the next train is stopped until the next bit is clear. The station and flat-to-down bits (EDIT: Nope, upwards chain to level it is) also start a new section. Rule of thumb is having no more than half as many trains as you have sections, rather less. Or they spend most time waiting. Its more complicated to design, but eliminates some crashes and those ugly max length stations you had to use in RCT1.
