I know there are already a few other topics with similar issues, but none of the ones I found seem to have been solved...

Anyways, what happens is when I try to save/load, the game just doesn't do anything. It doesn't crash either, and it's still playable afterwards, which I found a bit odd...

I have Windows 7, 64-bit and I'm running the game with compatibility mode for Windows 98.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated :<

Ok nvm, I got it to work by right-clicking on the exe->properties->compatibility and checking "disable visual themes"

Hey, it's been a while since this was answered, but how are you supposed to do that thingie in Windows 8? I can't find that anywhere.
