Ok I just got my colors going right again. I did two things recently not sure which corrected the issue. I updated the drivers on my video card ATI Radeon HD 7700 to the latest and greatest. I also disabled the on board graphics of my mother board. I recently replaced my mother board and it worked fine before that so thought there might be some conflict don't know was trying everything.

Well it now works for me time to construct some rollercoasters.

I would just like to reiterate and quote this statement for any AMD card users.

Updating to the current 13.12 driver version fixed the graphical corruption issues ( as in messed up pink/blue/green colours ) for me accross the board.

Games that I verified with my ATI Radeon 7870 HD are:

- RCT 1
- RCT 2
- StarCraft

I did not have to set any compatibility settings at all - and they work.

All of these old classics were having the exact same colour issues with the 13.9 driver version and now work perfectly with the newly released 13.12 version. It seems some of the old DirectDraw issues were fixed and now I can finally go back to playing in fullscreen mode.
