Ok, so I bought Roller Coaster Tycoon from GoG.com becuase it was one of my all-time favorite games back in the day(used to play for hours), and have started playing through it again. However, I had forgotten how nightmarishly boring and tedious some of the scenarios are, and I really just want to relax with my megapark again...

Anyway, I dug out the computer I had originally beaten the game on some 10 years ago and copied the RCT directory off of it. I'm not sure what RCT does exactly in the installer but the old game is not "portable"(can't just move the directory to a different PC and run the exe) and trying to open my old savegames doesn't work as according to the game I haven't beaten the right scenarios.

I don't want to just paste the old folder over the new GOG one. Does anyone know what file controls which scenarios have been "beaten" so I can just over-write that one? Otherwise I'll have to play through the whole game again, and anyone who's beaten Rainbow Valley knows why I'm not wild about doing that :P

I never found where RCT keeps track of that, just copying the folder won't help. I keep a bunch of seconds-before-winning saves for this purpose. Looks like these downloads on RCT Station still work. Keep them in a safe place for next time.
Well, that is one solution, haha. I'll add those to the software archive, thanks!
