Was thinking about playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 again, but when reading the reviews on GoG there were a couple issues brought up that I'd like to run by you guys.
The first and most important, mentioned in ryanhstone's review:
"There is at least one game-breaking financial factor that can ensure you endless money and which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It's a single feature that you can avoid building in order to keep your game balanced and any veteran of this game knows exactly what I'm talking about."
Can somebody tell me what this means? Shed some light here?
One of the reasons I play Rollercoaster Tycoon or in fact any tycooning game, is the challenge of making money/profit.
If there's a gamebreaking way to get endless money, then I don't know if I can bring myself to play..
at least until I know what it is and maybe it's not as bad as it sounds.
Second question is from another review by cathal:
"There is only one failing to the game in my view, but it is a rather spectacular flaw. The AI does not respond well to mega park designs. In my experience of having produced a number of large parks in this game, I'll quickly find that nobody actually goes on my rides"
Is this also a serious issue and can it be worked around somehow?
Sorry if I sound silly hehe.. But I've been putting off playing RCT3 the past week, and have had these
particular things on my mind keeping me from playing.
Clearing them up, or having aknowledgement of them would be quite nice.
Thanks,
Vincent
