I've installed the GOG version on my steam deck. It wouldn't run in deck mode at all and I had resolution and aspect ratio issues in desktop mode. I think I was able to fix those with some INI settings. However I would still like to try a recent version with linux fixes and FNA updates.

You are right: the Linux and MacOS releases are out of date, apparently. Thanks for sharing the information.
I suggest you to contact the developers directly and ask them to upload the patch here.
