Robocop is crashing constantly with the following error:

LowLevelFatalError [File:F:\RoboCop_MAIN\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12Util.cpp] [Line: 873] hr failed at F:\RoboCop_MAIN\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12Resources.cpp:391 with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED with Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

I'm on Windows 11

I've tried all the fixes I can find online, but none have resolved it (all the errors point to issues on Stream not GOG)

Can anyone help please?
Late reply, but I ran into this same issue when I upgraded my CPU to an Intel i9 14900K. Looking online, seems like if the clock speed gets up to a certain point, UE5 can't handle it and starts overloading all cores on the CPU, eventually crashing. Slower clock speeds like my old Ryzen 3800X seems to be below the threshold for an error. I did look at other people's methods, none of which satisfied me, but I found one method that seems to work so far with all my testing. Download and install a program called Process Lasso, which lets you set CPU affinity. Once you do, change power settings temporarily to Power Saver to initially launch the game, as that will underclock your CPU significantly. Once you load into the main menu, Alt-Tab and open Process Lasso and navigate to the Robocop Rogue City program. There, you can right click and set CPU affinity to whatever you want. I set my CPU affinity to only the last 6 cores, and that seems to resolve the issue as the game can't completely overload the whole CPU when it's limited to only those cores. And the game seems to run fine with only those cores limited as well. Try that method. It also made the main menu more stable on an initial load (which also happened when I was using my Ryzen CPU).

EDIT: I was running the executable inside the Binaries folder, but if you're running Robocop.exe, not sure if that also requires limiting cores but I did it just to be on the safe side. Also did some more playing around and seems like the Robocop.exe does use a little more CPU as well. I also typically like to run this game via Steam even though it's the GOG copy and that can possibly also add some CPU cycles. So far, seems like the most cores I can use and keep it relatively stable at 4K resolution is half my cores. Sometimes it can still error out, but it usually doesn't and every time it errored out, I could just launch it again and play. May have to do this for other UE5 games in the future as well.

I am not sure if you're still having this issue, but just in case, what I did to stop this from happening on my laptop was:

Limit the framerate in the game's options to 60 FPS, and ensure I have as few programs running in second plane as possible, considering the game's poor optimization and how much memory it can take up while running.

I also noticed that the Game Bar is very insistent in automatically running in second plane with this game specifically fo some reason, so I turned off the permission for that.

Also make sure that your temporary file cache is clean. For that I usually rely on PC Manager, since it's lightweight and doesn't require installing.

But if you'd rather not install a program for that, there's a method to clean temporary files that doesn't require external programs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zV-NKz4cjlU
