after the intro the game brings me back to desktop, when i try to open it again its just black screen and im back again on my desktop

It would be helpful to know what operating system (e.g. Windows 7 32bit) you use and in which place you installed the game (e.g. NOT in C:\programs\...) and if you tried to run it with administrator rights.
