Wanted to comment, with Ubuntu 22.04, Wine with dxvk installed, on Intel i3-1115G4 (11th gen core) with TGL GT2 (Intel Xe), with the stock mesa etc. Road 96 starts and looks flawless but freezes after like 5-15 minutes (if I run it in a window, the whole desktop actually freezes for a few seconds, then kernel logs gpu hang and resets it, but the game does not recover and stays hung.)
I used oibaf/graphics-drivers ppa for more up to date Mesa (currently 22.3.0 instead of 22.0.x in stock Ubuntu), FLAWLESS. Buttery smooth on high settings and no freezes at all!
Doesn't help anyone with Windows really at the moment (since the graphics stack is totally different) but does at least indicate the hardware can do and it's a matter of Intel (and possibly Microsoft) working out bugs in the drivers and/or graphics stack.
