Oddeus: Thank you. I will keep my eyes peeled...
Great, glad to help.
Well, I think someone finally replaced Acrid. Man Huntress is so overpowered its like an artificial easy difficulty setting. Only character that can move and shoot, and two of her attack can attack a crowd and do a decent amount of damage.
I also love the sniper and engineer. I have not beat the game with the sniper on normal but I always have the most fun with it. My big problem is that on stage four there are usually bird type things that mob you and the sniper can't kill them fast enough or have enough space to deal with them after she activates the teleporter.

The engineer is by far the easiest one for me to beat it with.

I also like the enforcer, but I get too dependent on the shield and something in a big group of stuff will start tapping me from behind and I'll unexpectedly die. :(

The sniper and enforcer are the two classes I can't play. They definitely take a lot of patience to learn which I didn't feel like learning them. I can play anyone else though.

Since I last posted I have beat the game with the sniper twice. It turns out the secret to the sniper is get every combat drone you can even the bad ones, the extra damage and pushback from drones makes the sniper's life a lot easier, and gets her through stages a lot faster and helps deal with flying enemies. Supposedly her high base damage means the drones do more damage than with other characters (I don't know if that is true or not). Also crowbars are great because the more damage she does on the first hit, the more likely the thing you are hitting will die in one shot.

The other thing is to learn to reload while jumping. So attack, jump reload, attack jump reload, repeat. If you don't do that then enemies will creep up on you while you are reloading.
I have not unlocked all characters yet, but I would say that, at least for now, the bandit is my favourite. The default commando is pretty good to.
