Hi,
I was unable to get RoR's native Linux version to run on Ubuntu 24.04 despite following the posts related to Ubuntu 22.04 and Arch (the best I can).
The installation was OK, but running the game from the shortcut did nothing.
Running from the terminal printed an error:
"
~/GOG Games/Risk of Rain$ ./start.sh
Running Risk of Rain
./start.sh: line 19: ./Risk_of_Rain: No such file or directory
"
That specific issue is mentionned at www.gog.com/forum/risk_of_rain/linux_startsh_not_pointing_to_libcryptoso100_and_libsslso100. Yet the fix didn't apply or work for me. Possibly a 32bit + missing libsissue.
For those who stuggled like me, there's an easy workaround: using the Windows installer with Wine. I used Lutris to do it. The process was super smooth.
Hoping that helps
