EDIT: I am having an issue with the game where it has a flickering white screen everytime I move the character or camera, how do I fix this?

Has anyone experience this before? It only happens over here with Risen and nothing else, sent a ticket to GOG but want to see if anyone has experienced this before with this game in particular.

I just got Risen and now I regret it, because the intro part has severe flickering of the lightning that it makes the game unplayable for me. Is there any way to disable this effect?

I discovered this by accident when fiddling with the game but thanks for the share, also I noticed that when you are outside when the sun is out the shadows tend to flicker but this is a minor issue for me.
