HI,
So the conter-parry activate when releasing the block button and not only when clicking once. It makes the combat quite horrendous. I saw on a steam thread that it's probably a problem of a recent patch. The open beta version available on steam seems to fix that. So is there a possibiliy to access that version through gog, would be my question.
Any other fixes are welcomed.

Probably best way is to contact THQ Nordic from the link below and let them know about the missing patch

Did you ever get a response from THQ Nordic?

I contacted GOG in hopes of bringing back the original installer,
but they claim that it is no longer supported and will not be made available for download.
