Hi,
I can't get any resolution above 1920x1200 to work. I tried using Risen 2 tune utility as well as configuring the ConfugUser.xml by hand. When confgiuring the .xml by hand Risen 2 always starts up in 1024x786, in the Option menu of the game i can only chosse between some predifined low resolutions.

Any idea?

Edit the file %LOCALAPPDATA%\Risen2\Config\ConfigUser.xml, in section <Window> as follows:

AdapterNumber="0"
>
Add the line "AdapterNumber="0" if not present.

Edit the file <path-to-game>\data\ini\ConfigDefault.xml; in section <GUI> as follows:

VirtalWidth="1728"
VirtalHeight="1080"
EnableDrawScale="True"
>
Change VirtalWidth and VirtalHeight to match your current resolution
