So I finished the game last night. At the beginning of Chapter 4, when the Inquisitor decides to tell the Inquisition to kill you, I tried to run away and ended up stuck in conversation with Ursegor. I didn't want to kill the humans (not enough of them on the island as it is!) so I ran to the rune and left.
Later, when I returned decked out with the Titan Lord's armor, I found an interesting scene - the Inquisitor was fighting the members of the Inquisition! At first I thought there might be a story reason (maybe they changed sides?) but as I got closer and they attacked me, I realized that they were essentially berserked. I couldn't damage the Inquisitor at that point, and neither could they, so I guess I could have sat back and watch as he beat them to a pulp.
Anyways, fun game. The final boss wasn't exactly imaginative but it was fine.
