I have to say it felt great to play this one again. This game really got me acquainted with my sadistic side in my youth :) Ridiculous gibs and even more ridiculous weapons... that's what this game was all about. The Drunken Missile Launcher, Dog Mode, Flamewall and those dual pistols are just as satisfying as I remember them.
I have great memories the multiplyer in tthis game, playing against my friends via modem; it was a nice change from Doom. This game was also pretty awesome back in the day with a VFX1 VR system, seeing the flamewall come at you in VR was pretty neat.
Anyway, well worth picking up - especially considering the discount on apogee games right now. Runs flawlessly with dosbox. Thanks GOG!

I'm almost afraid to play this for fear of it not living up to my fond memories. As much as I loved Doom, I think I enjoyed the wanton violence of this game even more. The best part? The enemies who proclaim "Die!" as they attack. :D

Why are you "almost afraid?" This game is just as over the top and FUN as it was when it first came out.
