Well, here's something interesting I stumbled upon.
Bought "Rise of the triad 2013" at gmg, got a steam preorder key including the throwback pack.
Installed the throwback pack and played a bit.
Explored the folders in the steam directory.
In the Steamapps/commen/The apogee Throwback Pack/Blake Stone folder is a link called "Blake Stone Aliens of Gold", when you click it this appears:

Yeah, its german. But you can see where the link leads to, right?

I would assume that Apogee just sent them a modified version of the GoG release. I don't think there's any legal issues, but it's very interesting.

So I've pre ordered Rise of the Triad, yet I've noticed that my Apogee Throwback Pack wasn't added to my shelf. When do I recieve this or do get automatic authorization to it if I do a separate search for it?

Check your order confirmation e-mail, you should have a code for each game in there. Then, you just redeem them here:

Really interesting, they not cleaned really well the content before distribute. The game itseft is the same there is not problem whit this.

The face on the icons is not b.j. blazkowicz from wolfenstein 3d?

I think he may have changed the installation folder. The first time I Instaled steam on one of my computers, give me problems too. I have to change the folder of Steam to Steam_1... but is only a teory...
