these messages at level-start are gone much too quick. i'm not able to read them completely before a level starts.
is it possible to look them up somewhere?

You can buy a slower PC so the loading times increases :p

Mostly they're just dev log facts (things that happened while working on the 2013 version), and also little factoids about the original (a great many of which you can find on the wiki entry - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rise_of_the_Triad).

I was thinking the same thing. I love to read old factoids. Maybe patch in a "Click to start level"?
