MIK3K: Excuse my being dumb about this stuff, but Isn't .NET 4 used for a ton of games now? I have hundreds of games across different digital retailers (steam, gog, impulse, etc.) and a ton of indies that I think require this. I'm on a slow dual core Win XP 32 bit system and run games just fine.
Does it permanently affect other parts of the system or just those games that require it? I also see other versions of .NET being installed sometimes (.NET 3.X), so I just assume 4 only affects those games that require it and is a non-issue otherwise?
Anyway, thanks for the great game devs. I honestly feel like I underpaid for this excellent game. Hope it does well enough that you make another game, any kind of game, because you created something really great here.
.net 4 is the current network standard and used for any game/ program that requires a network to work.
Your slow xp 32 bit rans as fast as a fast vista… Yes the effect of .net 4 on your system is permanent [not just when you are on a network] and yes the slow xp system would run faster [off the network] without .net4.
Fyi I’m very happy with the game and agree that the price was a good one.
