I downloaded the game, and cannot get it to launch. I'm running WIn 8.1, and have an Nvidia GTX 980

I had the same problem with windows 7, I downloaded it from the 'normal' website library (Chrome) instead of installing with google galaxy and it worked fine.

Do remember to mark Fanzes aswer as solution. And Fanzes, it's GOG Galaxy, not Google Galaxy. Just saying. ;-p

Iirc, hover mouse cursor over the post you think is solution to your problem and option to mark it should show up (same way reply / rate this post options show up). It'll award the solution giver 5 reputation (iirc) and mark topic as solved.
