Hello.
How do I backup the save files of the gog.com version, what is the location/path?
The registry says that the SAVEGAMEFOLDER is my install folder but I don't see any files with the string "save" in there.

Hey, the save data is stored inside regedit. Open 'regedit', go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Acclaim -> Re-Volt and right-click on the Re-Volt folder and -> Export. This should backup your savedata. :)
I don't think I have this path in my registry. I find Re-Volt under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->...->GOG.COM->GOGREVOLT

But I guess it should work if I export GOGREVOLT, thanks!

I don't think it will work - I had a quick peek inside GOGRE-VOLT and it does not seem to store any information regarding your in-game progress. Are you on a 64-bit computer? In that case it might be stored under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Wow6432Node (or something similar) -> Acclaim -> Re-Volt"
