If you use 1.2 Alpha I have one advice when setting up controllers. If you are like me and likes to use both keyboard and controllers, then create 2 profiles - one for each.

I have a profile called "Splitscreen" which I use when my controllers are plugged in - The Splitscreen profile is then set-up exactly as I want the buttons to be. When I play on keyboard I use my "Main" profile though, where my keyboard controls are setup. No need to re-configure your controls all the time anymore. :)

Stockpile: I don't know about DC version but at least in terms of PC vs. PSX, the handling and controlling has always been quite different. I don't believe it has anything to do with the 1.2 patch - just that each port of Re-Volt has slightly different controls/handling.
I think that might be it. Although supposedly the Dreamcast version is based on the PC version. That said, theres still probably something slightly different about how either version makes use of the physics.

One added bonus is the Dreamcast version lets you steer with the analog stick and D-pad at the same time. Hope the PC version supports this down the line.
