Was installing this & DISM popped up enabling something; still trying to track down what or why.

Just trying to figure out if it was the installer or coincidence & something else was running.

I just installed Revenant, saw the command prompt window open installing something with DISM, and had the same question. I looked at the DISM log file located at C:\windows\logs\dism\dism.log, and apparently it installed DirectPlay, now considered a legacy component.
