There are some "seams" in the main menu and at least some locations - is this normal?

Those seams appear for me if I change the resolution in the config file to something higher than 2.
Try changing it to 2 or lower.... or perhaps higher. Range 0-4.

To which file are you referring to? I've forgotten where the resolution options are, there's nothing in the in-game menu.

In the top folder of the game there should be a file called "config.ini" .
bScreenResolution=2
It's not really a boolean even though it's named as one (I'm reffering to the "b" prefix).
