Hey guys,

Just a while ago, we put up a new installer for RCR. This will update your game to version 1.01. Once you install it, you can verify you have the new version by the version number on the lower left corner of the main menu.

Here is what's fixed in this update:

Added setting which allows stretching the game to fill the entire screen (previously was only allowing whole number zooming to ensure cleaner pixels)
Automatically selects gamepad if only one is found
Retains gamepad active state after ALT+TAB
Tuned difficulty on some missions
Added COFFEE JITTER SPEED Power - Drink coffee to play the game at 2X speed for 30 seconds
French Translation Update
Misc. Bug Fixes

I hope that the mission where I have to activate 5 bombs underwater is tuned a bit down :D

How can I update to the latest version without losing my saved game progress?

Do I have to uninstall the original version that I have installed then install the new one with the new installer or can I just install over the top?
Where are the save games and do I have to move these to prevent them being deleted?
Are the save games in fact compatible with the new version?

Found the save game location: C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\RetroCityRampage\

Also, I uninstalled the game (and chose to keep my saves when prompted) and then installed the game with the new version of the installer. It picked up all my settings and saves fine, so this is great. :)

I installed it over the old version and didn't lose any of my progess. FYI
