I managed to open the door finishing the chapter before i tried everything. so just curious.

I don't think so. You don't have time to fiddle with the combination, and if you try to give it to Bennett, Ed says that he feels he should keep it himself. Since the demo ends when Morales is discovered, I think it's just one mystery for later. Like what DOES Linus Bruckman sees when he closes his eyes?
