Just finished the Chapter 1 demo, brilliant stuff.

Does anyone know if once the game releases we get to keep our save and continue from there, or do we have to do this prologue over?

Thanks bunches.

PS I found the thermal scanner in the lab during the last scene. Do you do anything with it? It looked like a fairly complicated puzzle, so I didn't bother too much. I hate full screen Myst-clones. Solving Pi is about as far as I go :)

Unfortunately, the demo savefiles won't transfer over, but we'll supply GoG with a save file that is compatible and starts you off just where the demo left off.

There doesn't seem to be any relevance to the thermal scanner just yet. The only thing the panel is useful for at the moment is the calculator.
Thanks you ever so much!
This is probably going to get the same answer, but will achievements be carried over between the demo and the main game?

Kinda yes and kinda no. There's something special that needs to be done in order to make it happen. Remind me when the game launches and I'll explain how it's done.

Alright, good to know.
Just for the archives, as it's currently on the news page, but that might become hard to find:

http://items.gog.com/resonance_save.zip

And, from the article:

'**Note for pre-orders**
Any save from the playable preview or demo will not work with the full version.
You can either re-play the game (recommended!) and maybe mix things up a little ;) or use this save with instructions instead.'
Are there instructions on how to transfer achievements, or is that still incoming?

Edit: Ahh, nevermind, they appear to be unlocked in my game already.

Hmmm. I have the Chapter 1 preview and I followed the instrucitons but there is no GOGSAVE saved game. Should I uninstall the preview? Are there hidden assumptions in the instructions that I'm supposed to know already. I'm lost. It don't work. Help!!
Where can I find the news page?

TheLonelyGod: Where can I find the news page?
Generally, tiled sidebar on the main page.
Resonance's news page is here.
Hmm, I tried this solution, copying the saved game into the folder you specified, but it comes up as having no saved games. Any ideas?

Are you on WinXP? It's C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My documents\My Saved Games\Resonance on XP.
Also, rename the save to agssave.001 or something.
Thank you, that does the job!
