ASnakeNeverDies: The video stream in those files is h264 while the game is using cinepak. You can convert 'em with FFmpeg.
Thanks for the helpful tip. I just converted them and they are running fine.

demomode: So, it looks like every video file in game is in low quality and low fps. Will it be updated to a better version and/or upscaled?
I did a test, I upscaled a movie and also applied a filter in the audio, but the game doesn't recognize the file, even with same name.

I don't think it is possible to use a different file
