No Vibration for xbox controller in Resident evil 2.
Why?

1990s PC games didn't traditionally utilize rumble features.
I see.
But Capcom COULD AND HAD TO insert this feature in this game version together the other new features.
Haptic feedback was implemented in DirectInput in 1999, with DirectX 7.0. So it arrived a little too late for PC ports of PS1 games. GOG can't fix what was never in the game.

I agree though, it's a great pity as rumble adds so much to the game. I love this version but I'm probably better off just firing up Duckstation to play the playstation version with the working rumble.

RE2 PC is technically capable of some vibration (it's still based on the dualshock version after all) but it leads to code that does nothing. My patch restores that.

Hi, where is your patch?

(Ciao sono italiano, anche a te escono le bande nere a destra e sinistra, anche in full screen?)

It's called Resident Evil 3 Classic REbirth. Keys has created a separate topic for this.

The black bars are normal, as the game has a 4:3 resolution by default.
