Well makes no sense... 95% of the games are Steam exclusive and not GOG. The only "crybabies" are indeed on Steam when a publisher/developer releases a game with Denuvo or any other additional DRM... then the QQ starts. Thanks for the laughs though!

Steam, lol. highly over rated. this is where real old school gamers go to get DRM FREE, untethered gaming. GOG is and will be the go to place for people who really love games and want to own the game not just access to it. keep up the good work GOG, I know this is the Spot.

Well, there is just a big difference, the games here are DRM free.
I can use them wherever i want and store them everywere, i can't do this for most of the Games sold on Steam.
As others mentioned, than also others as Epic, EA and Ubisoft, they can screw you one day to another.

There is just no real reason to cry about Gog.

There are loads of older DRM free games on Steam as well. That's really not an argument anymore, if it ever was one.

In most cases, it makes no sense to release your older game, and put work into them just to get DRM, when you sell them for 10 € or something.

Well you don't have to use GOG's launcher, you can just use the DRM-free installers (and add it to Steam as a non-Steam game, though I don't personally know how).

(I haven't forgotten that you're just here to troll :P I'm sure we'll just have to agree to disagree) I get what you're saying, and I was being hyperbolic with "rage", but Steam is the dominant force so it's not going anywhere so there's a greater need to "cry" for games to come to GOG over Steam. If Steam/Valve was a company struggling to get titles I might agree or leans toward agreeing with your point. (Personally I try to support GOG, ZoomPlatform, and Fireflower Games.) Exclusives are good for GOG because many people won't use the service otherwise since DRM-free - while it shouldn't be removed as a pillar from GOG and it is valuable - is so niche overall.

If they are DRM free then it's mistaken from steam or a very old game that uses dosbox.
Most games if not 99% of them use DRM, at least steam is used as DRM form.

There are some games that are DRM free, sure, but not even the 1%.

Nothing against steam, in fact i made my account the same day it was released back in the day, because i'm a huge fan of valve. I also believe that thanks to Steam, game devs and publisher saw that it was posible to get profit from PC gaming.
Let's not forget the dark ages of pc gaming when most games were broken ports of 360 or ps3 games.

No, it isn't. Again, it makes little sense to work on old games you sell for a tenner, and incorporate a DRM.

You can copy paste those games to other locations, and they just work, without Steam. Thief 1 and 2, for example.
