This is to help those with Windows 11 laptops that have Nvidia and Intel integrated graphics, not AMD graphics, but still suffer crashes at the start menu of RE1 after the logo movie and/or the Chris screaming intro movie. Or the graphics extremely skewed with the text flickering one letter at a time and the menu being messed up. Rendering it unplayable.

I've seen numerous topics on this issue, but not any solutions that have worked except for one in a Reddit post which I can't link here.

in the topic user Jazzlike_Boot6042's comment mentions that he fixed it by disabling Nvidia Advanced Optimus. I couldn't find the option in my Nvidia control panel, but I booted to BIOs and changed the GPU Working Mode from Hybrid to dGPU. This was under Advanced Settings in my BIOs. The game now work flawlessly.

I hope this helps others looking for a fix.

This also might work with RE2 and RE3, but I haven't tried those ones.
