"What have we got here?"

A 1080p/60fps cutscene pack without burnt in Japanese subtitles based on RE2 US Dreamcast source for Resident Evil 2 Classic Rebirth. Two different versions are available: Default and Resized.

During my search for a good cutscene pack without burnt in subtitles I came to realise that there has not been a good one out yet and so I decided to create one myself.

These cutscenes come in three parts:

• Part 1: Leon (...\Resident Evil 2\Pl0\Zmovie)
• Part 2: Claire (...\Resident Evil 2\Pl1\Zmovie)
• Part 3: Both (...\Resident Evil 2\Zmovie)

and two different versions:

• Default: 1440x1080p / 60fps / small black bars on top and bottom but 1:1 aspect ratio like the RE2 US Dreamcast source
• Resized: 1440x1080p / 60fps / black bars on top and bottom removed and image stretched horizontally to fit the aspect ratio

Installation:

• Install the game using the latest Resident Evil 2 (GOG) US version.
• Download and install the Unofficial SourceNext 1.1.0 conversion patch for RE2 Windows 95-98
• Download and install the latest version of Resident Evil 2 Classic REbirth DLL
• Download Part 1–Part 3 of this cutscene pack and extract the folders into your Resident Evil 2 game folder. If you get asked to overwrite files, click yes.
• Start Resident Evil 2 using ClaireU.exe or LeonU.exe and enjoy playing with good looking cutscenes without subtitles.
