So i was trying to get the events version where carlos kills his teammate who turns into a zombie in sales office and nicholai is at the gas station and i couldnt get it.
So my question is:
-is the internet wrong about what triggers it and its just rng?
or
-did gog version mess up like they did with cherry and ada sections having wrong enemies in re2?

Apparently if you go to the journal office first and you escape by jumping by the window you get nikolai at the gas station and carlos at the sales office .

i get that info on the wiki

You've to meet Carlos at the Raccoon Press building, not the restaurant. I'm not sure if jumping out the window is a requirement as the other user says.
