Why the f, is the main character wobbling? i have the original pc version. and the character never wobbled in that version at all. it was smooth and this seems to be that version because it have the same layout and. and the exact same graphics menu in game when you press a button. where you could change resolution and such stuff. I guess someone screwed up. Sure i have the original pc version on cd. but i got the triple pack because, the rest of the games i never had. sure it´s versions to make it work on a modern pc. but it´s still seems kind of halfassed. At least the gog version of at least the 3rd game should not be worse then the original pc version... Maybe it´s related to how the 3rd game as i said actually had settings ingame and that the settings that´s added before you start the game screws with that or something.

i can´t because i don´t have a dvd player on my comp. well technically i do but it´s not compatible, with the rest of the computer. upgraded and such. search on the game on youtube. from all the clips i have seen there also was no wobbling.
Sadly, lazy porting for RE3 back in a days (not like RE1, RE2). All RE3 PC and all Console versios have "wobbling effect". Only with Emulators and ClassicRebirth by Gemini patch (for Japanese version, but with English translation) could be without wobbling effect.

The PC versions always had wobbling models. Look up walkhrough videos about both the original and Sourcenext versions and you will see. The cutscene with Brad in the bar is a good example. Only the GameCube version has fixed models. I would link YouTube videos but that's not possible here.

What is actually Sourcenext? Is it some kind of a fan mod?

Nope. The GameCube version has no wobbly polygonal graphics. The version is also the only version where after clicking NEW GAME/LOAD GAME the game says Resident Evil Three.

The GameCube version is the best version of the original Resident Evil 3. The PC version sadly pales in comparation, even this new GOG version.

@EchoOfMidgar GC version I played only once with emulation, what bothered me most, iconic RE3 title calling voice changed to RE4 voice, and small chages in rooms objects textures (for e.g. biggest eye catching is removed dead body in drain demos room, they should just adjust it to correct size).

Official updated versions of the game released in Japan that worked on Windows 2000/XP. These versions include the highest quality cutscenes available and better compatibility with modern systems compared to the 1999 PC version.

That's an error, though. The fixed version has no body there, also the body appears to be untextured.
