Hi Everyone,

after changing controlls in Original RE1, it´s not possible to open the Inventory anymore...
Inventory button turns into Options, so I have two Options buttons.

I´m using a Xbox One Gamepad.
Keyboard has the same Issue too.
Uninstall and Install without sync the game didn´t helped.
It got even worse... at the character select there is an permanent input now.

Thanks for the help.

I bought this game on day one and I had the speed issue so I uninstalled it and waited for the hotfix.

When the hotfix was live I installed the game which was configured before when I first installed it.

I had some weird issues in the game like the characters kept switching over on character screen selection and also this same issue you're currently having.

I figured it was caused by conflicting configuration of the game so I fixed it by doing the following:

1. Disable cloud save sync in GOG Galaxy.
2. Uninstall the game.
3. Delete game configuration in Windows Registry.

Just press Windows + R, it will open the windows RUN program, type in "regedit" and press enter.

Path: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CAPCOM\RESIDENT EVIL

You can paste the path directly in the path bar at the top.

Then delete the 'RESIDENT EVIL' key on the left, keys look like folders.

Right click on it and click on delete.

4. Reinstall the game.
5. Enable cloud save.

I'm not sure but maybe just deleting the registry entry will fix the issue.

Worked like a charm! Thank you!
