Does anyone else have this issue? I can't select between Jill and Chris because the S.T.A.R.S. cards keep moving and changing between the two.

I tried changing settings in the dxcfg file. Unplugged controller, keyboard and mouse.

I found out that this occurs when you start to play the game through GOG galaxy app. Go to game files location and start the game with "Lauch Resident Evil" shortcut. It worked for me.

I'm having the same issue, and running the game from the directory does not work unlike with the user above.

I installed the Classic REbirth mod and with that, the game doesn't accept any keyboard or controller input at all.

I'm sure this issue will get fixed soon.

After mashing buttons I got it to select Chris even though I wanted to play as Jill. Now I can't figure out how to open up the in game inventory lol.

But hey, I still love that we have this and with time it will only get better.

Okay so I just changed some settings and got it working... or they patched it?? Everything functions correctly now like the in game binding of the Menu button. Something happened now it's fixed. :)

I went into to dxcfg and changed my settings to these:


Display mode: 2560x1440 60HZ (do the 60hz option)
Presentation: Set by application
Aspect ratio: Disabled
Scaling method: Integer scaling
Vertical synchronization: Disabled
Gamma: 1.0

Enhancements

Anisotropic filtering: Enabled AF 4x
Antialiasing: Enabled MSAA 4x

As a longshot, I changed my settings to match yours and i'm still having the same issue. Also resynced my installation to test that too.

Oh well now I have the issue where the game is running real choppy. Always a bigger fish. Yep this one needs a day 1 patch.

This happen when you change refresh rate (here works fine only at 144hz)

I have the same issue, just press the keyboard until randomly someone is selected. Hope this will be fixed

Just want to throw something that worked for me your way, I made an install on a separate hard drive using the offline installers.

I had the Issue that i couldn't accsess the Inventory.

Wanted to start a new Game to test it out there and the Cards were moving as it did for you.

I restarted the Computer and everything worked fine afterward.

Every imaginable Program, as Steam, was closed, so i am not sure what caused it.
But i was playing some Games beforehead, so i imagine one must change something, so that it causes that.

I played the game through the GOG Galaxy launcher, and I never had this problem.
