Dear GOG Team,

Here are the lists of optional uncensored and special versions (as patches or updates) and censored versions. I would like to see them included in the future, please?

2. Resident Evil (Censored English U.K. Version, with 15 fps for all FMVs)

3. Resident Evil (Director's Cut Patch, in both uncut English and original Japanese versions, with two optional soundtracks, and 15 fps for all FMVs)

4. Resident Evil 2 (Patch that includes more gore as the PS1 and Gamecube versions)

5. BIOHAZARD 2 Sourcenext Version (Including the English Version as an optional language)

6. Resident Evil 2 (Censored European Versions)

7. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis (Uncensored Patch that is based on the U.S. Gamecube version)

8. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis (Censored German and European Versions)

9. BIOHAZARD 3 Last Escape Sourcenext Version (Including the English Version as an optional language)

P.S, for all users in this forum, please let me know if you want me to add more, edit, or change the list.

Please, take your time to look at my list, and let me know what you think.
What you ask for is unrealistic.

I know. But what can I ask for realistically?

Resident Evil 0, 4-7 and the two Revelations games. And 4 would of course be the non-HD version that came out on DVD-ROM.

The PS1 content is certainly unrealistic, would either have to be straight up emulation which we can already do or reverse engineered to run on pc.

We should certainly get the sourcenext versions of 2 and 3 though, Otherwise I'd feel a bit ripped off, I want PC versions but I want the best PC versions available.

I personally would have been happy if we just got the Mediakite version of RE1 as it's the best one on PC.

Personally I'd evade all console related stuff as it would be way too much work for little reward, theres no reason why the rest of the stuff can't be done, it's just different editions of existing PC ports.

That would be possible.

I agree. Our best option would be for us to point out to the GOG team what parts are censored on both Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Nemesis so they can try to uncensor them with the update patch.

Again, I can only recommend to stay realistic. They won't "uncensor" content in the games. If anything, they use a specific version of the game for their port/fix.

Just like with Resident Evil 1.

WoW you must have a strong stomach if you want the Ubisoft release of RE4.
They took the weak ps2 RE4 version and made it even worst.
Erasing that version from history and leaving the RE4 HD as the default for PC is the best way to go.

I understand that. We’ll see what the GOG Team says or not.

Ouch for the Ubisoft Version, though. Resident Evil 4 in HD on GOG would be recommended.

Yeah but the HD is not the original. And I'm only talking about the original regardless of its Publisher...which I have on DVD-ROM by the way.

Also there's no reason NOT to include the HD release as well if CD Projekt Red are so inclined.
