No, the original PS1 version has music. I always liked getting there, it was warm and soothing.

Probably just bad memory.

You can also easily confuse both base floor save rooms in the mansion.

--- Seems to be a little too far of a stretch to confuse janitor-room with the "serum"-room accompanied by the save-room-music.

Just clarifying. the EU version on PS1 had no music either in that room
