Blk_Mage_Ctype: I'm happy to see that most folks who've commented so far are in fact pleased with this release because previously, every thread that got any responses were the "I'm disappointed" threads and the majority of responses were "I'm disappointed too" while the one thread expressing appreciation or enthusiasm had no responses whatsoever.

That being said, I must reiterate my statement that those who are disappointed have entirely missed the point of this release. Preservation. This is intended to be essentially a port of the original PC Release, exactly as it was, simply playable on modern hardware with nothing more than the press of a PLAY button, ergo there was no reason to expect bug fixes, higher resolution cutscenes, higher fidelity audio files, or any other such enhanced features to be implemented because that wasn't the purpose of these ports to begin with.
GOG is an acronym for Good Old Games, the platform by definition is devoted to making old games available and playable on modern hardware, not enhancing them, not improving them, not remastering, remaking or revising them.

I'm certain that if these games sell well enough, then Capcom will most likely decide to release Remastered versions on Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Network, etc. Granted, they'll cost a heck of a lot more, — probably full price — due to the amount of effort put into their development, these games are $10 each, $25 if you buy the Bundle, because it isn't an Enhanced Edition, it's just a port.

Shocker650: Re-releasing ports in digital stores without remastering them, or releasing them on every platform has been a thing since forever at this point. Not sure what's up with the sudden uproar when it comes to this trilogy.
Because people doesn't understand the difference between re-release, remaster and remake.

That's why they cry when a superb remaster like SW Dark Forces Remaster is 35 and it's also why when they re release a functional version of a win95 game for 10 bucks they also cry.
Would've preferred to have any bugfixes from the Original -> Dualshock -> Director's Cut pipeline. Ideally, with an option to switch to the additional Director's Cut content. Also the audio and videos do seem to be lower quality. I'm not sure if mods handle all of this or not, but even being able to get the game legally is nice. Plus informing crapcom to release more.
I'm pleasantly surprised that even Capcom posted about this on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/6zrKEoCABq1Fx8JP/
