It's very strange, I only have the sound of the cinematics, the game works well but as soon as there's a CG cinematics, I only have the sound but the image of the video, it's a black screen, why does it do that?

Same here, I understand the game just came out, but is there any fix yet? I assume is just a codec thing.

Same problem, I have discovered that my game does show the movie, but only in the upperleft corner and in windowed mode. I play this on a 14 inch laptop btw.

Same problem. I understand there's problem with FMVs - they are playing in the background, but in fullscreen I only hear music, in windowed mode I see FMV, but is so tiny. Weird, because with RE1 I don't have this problem.

I had the same problem before i downloaded Unofficial SourceNext 1.1.0 conversion patch for RE2 from moddb and installed it. It works great: videos play in fullscreen and the game actually runs better.

Didnt work, and it messed up all the installation files...FFS, it is so hard for someone to just include the all codec as a quick update???
