So, GOG announced they gonna implement a fix for the stuttering and animation skip issues (speed). However anyone know if there gonna do anything for the sound?

The audio quality is terrible and there's a lot of white noise, which is very annoying. They could have used the audio tracks from the PS1 version or extracted them from the original OST CD. If they haven't done it before, I doubt they'll do it now.

As some other user on this forum always says: The bad audio quality is from the original files. So keeping the quality bad is "preservation". LOL

I don't think they gonna upgrade or remaster the audio, because that is out of scope for GOG which is known to only ever do the bare minimum. All it would take is putting the files through a white noise filter. But there should be a few audio mods out there that you can apply that has the white noise removed. So I guess this is what you all want to get.
